I tried, unsuccessfully, for years switching to Dr. Nielsen while I was a patient at Little Traverse Primary Care. Needless to say, I was more than thrilled to hear she had opened her own practice in Petoskey. The service and attention provided to her patients is unparalleled. I absolutely love that I am able to email with a concern and receive a reply back with in 24 hours suggesting the proper course of action or appointment. As a person with a long history of unique diagnoses for my age, Dr. Nielsen's interest and openness to alternative medicines is extremely refreshing. I have never before had such sincere confidence in an MD that my health was truly in their best interest. I know that Dr. Nielsen and her staff truly care about my well-being above all else. There are no insurance hassles, no hospital or clinic red tape to overcome, no drama. It's a truly refreshing and comforting experience in a time when our health care system is being doubted as a whole. I hope the concept of concierge medicine continues to grow, Dr. Nielsen's operation offers a great example of how modern medicine really should be delivered.
